home.

As Mitch and I drove into Nashville yesterday he looked at me and said, "It feels like we're going home." I couldn't agree more with him. Although we have already moved out of our apartment here, Nashville is the first place we lived as a newly married couple. We may not have a permanent place, but it feels like we belong here. It's homey and we love it. Like the other cities we've visited this summer, our stay here will be short. We are here for no more than 10 days then it's on to the next city. We plan to make the most of our time here- seeing sweet friends, visiting our refugee neighbors and hitting some of our favorite local spots.

We have approx. 32 days before we fly out for Guatemala! Our next stops will be Fayetteville, AR, Houston, TX, back to Pensacola to grab ALL our luggage, then full circle back to Nashville to fly out! We are trying our best to see all our friends and family and raise the remainder of support before jetting off. Mitch and I are beyond excited and can't wait to get to Guatemala. But praise God for time in our favorite places with some of our favorite people!

August 5th- This guy and I celebrated 2 years of marriage! Marriage has been one of the most challenging, exciting, love-filled journey's we've been on. It's hard, but completely worth it. I am so thankful to spend each day with Mitch. Marriage has really taught me to savor each day and love deeply. What a wonderful God we have to bless us with the gift of marriage and most importantly,  love.
I love you, Mitch.
